We had the meeting this morning with the Palliative Team. Everybody is in agreement that we are going to start removing Brian from life support. They are going to be making him comfortable until he meets his maker.
Please be in prayer for the family, we are doing this at 9am tomorrow, Feb. 19th. Please pray that the Lord takes Brian as soon as possible. Visitation is open all day and all night TODAY ONLY for anyone who would like to say goodbye to Brian.
Visitation tomorrow is for FAMILY ONLY please. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support during this difficult time.
Earth hath no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

Dear Lynne, Chad & Heidi, I have been checking the blog daily but missed Weds & Thurs. and just saw yesterday's update. It's Friday, Feb 19th, I am sorry I missed coming to see Brian, We all love him he is one of the best people we know. I know you want only family today but if at all possible, and if he is still with us on Sat, I would like to see him. But you let me know if that is possible. I will pray that he passes quickly so he & the 3 of you do not suffer any longer. Love you Maggie

ReplyDeleteGod Bless you Brian!!! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family through these tough times!!! God's green earth is set to lose a WONDERFUL man, but God himself is gaining a terrific soul to sit beside him in heaven!!! To his family I have never met you in person, but I have met you through Brian. I want you to know that I have never met a more caring, unselfish, giving, and free spirit than this man who you had the honor of sharing your lives together with daily, I worked with him for a few years in Techny/Highland Park, and he will always be a part of my life through thoughts and prayers. May he end his journey peacefully. Gods speed. Bob "Purvy" Purvis
