Hello all,
We had an amazing turn out for the visitation last night. Thank you, thank you all for waiting in the line to come and see the family! Brian is SO LOVED and it's such an amazing testimony to how many people's lives Brian touched.
A friend of the family Jason Ellis made a website for Brian and we would like you to check it out. He also put the slide show that he made for us on it too! We are so blessed to have him know what to do and voluntarily help us out with all of this. Please check out: www.brianwillms.org
This website and the blog is were we will most likely update about a future motorcycle ride that we would also like to do for Brian.
We love you all!

Please Pray
Today we had a meeting with Brian's doctors at Froedtert again. We discussed Brian's quality of life as of right now and the extent of his brain damage. The doctors said Brian has suffered an extensive amount of brain damage that it is irreversible. Brian is not getting better and this disease is infecting his brain more and more each day. The damage started with a very small amount on the left side of his brain and now the last MRI we saw it had taken over the whole left side and is on it's way to the right. Also, the seizures have NEVER stopped completely and they are causing more and more damage.
The doctors discussed with us the extent of the brain damage- how it is worsening everyday and with Brian hooked up with a ventilator, feeding tube, IVs, electrodes etc. Brian does not have quality of life.
We are meeting with a team of doctors tomorrow at 10am to discuss making Brian as comfortable as possible when the time comes for him to pass.
PLEASE PRAY that Brian will pass fast and that he does not have to suffer at all.
Thank you so much for all your love and support and continuing prayers! God has truly been blessing Brian and Us with all of you! Thank you

Protein results from Froedtert
We have heard back from the two protein tests that were sent out to Case Western Reserve University. One of the tests is called 14-3-3, when elevated amounts of the 14-3-3 protein are found in the cerebrospinal fluid of a patient it is a detection of CJD (Cruetzfeldt- Jakobd disease) However, this test result came back "ambiguous" or in other words inconclusive.
The other protein test is called the Tau protein test. The result that came back from that test is positive. The amount of protein that is considered to be a positive result in a person was found to be double that amount in Brian's cerebrospinal fluid. Therefore, because of the ambiguous result found in the 14-3-3 protein test and the positive result in the Tau protein test the average between the two that Case Western reported was 51% positive for CJD.
We are still waiting to hear from the UCSF Memory and Aging Center wear they specialize in CJD in what they say to a possible diagnosis in CJD. Thank you so much for all your prayers, comments and support. Brian and all of the family are so lucky to have such a great caring support system with all of you! As usual... we will keep you posted when we know more.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
